Plastic Expansion Agents

🌱 Core Advantages

  • Supply Plastic Stage Expansion:
Under alkaline conditions, slowly reacts with water to release nitrogen/acetylene-based mixed gases, forming uniformly distributed fine bubbles that compensate for plastic shrinkage during setting. Early-stage expansion (starts within 15 minutes of mixing) persists for 24 hours, ensuring full shrinkage compensation.
  • Shrinkage Compensation:
Addresses early-volume loss (within 3–24 hours) to prevent settlement cracks and improve compactness .
  • Wide Compatibility & Safety:
Non-corrosive to steel reinforcement and compatible with standard mixing processes (dry-mix first, then water addition).
  • Low Dosage, High Efficiency:
Minimal addition levels achieve dense, uniform bubble structures .
  • Eco-Friendly & Cost effectiveness:
Non-toxic, odorless, and free of harmful substances . Enhances end-product quality without significant cost increases.

🧱 Key Applications

1. Grouting materials and pressure grouts requiring plastic-stage expansion .

2. Mortars for crack repair and gap filling .

3. Precast concrete components and  mortars needing anti-settlement performance .

CSA Expansion Agents

🌱 Core Advantages

  • Dual-Stage Expansion:
Reacts with water and calcium hydroxide to form ettringite (needle-shaped crystals), generating controlled expansion during both early hydration and hardening stages. Avoids delayed expansion cracking with stable, predictable volume growth .
  • Shrinkage Compensation:
Counteracts autogenous, drying, and temperature-induced shrinkage in high-strength/concrete (HSC/UHSC) .
  • Durability Enhancement:
Improves impermeability (up to grade S30), freeze-thaw resistance (D150), and sulfate corrosion resistance. Maintains or increases compressive/flexural strength (28-day compressive strength ≥45 MPa) .
  • Structural Reinforcement:
Creates internal pre-stress (0.2–0.7 MPa) in reinforced concrete (0.2–1.0% reinforcement ratio) to enhance crack resistance.
  • Versatile Compatibility:
Works with ordinary Portland cement, mineral admixtures, and superplasticizers .
  • Chloride-Free:
Safe for steel reinforcement with no corrosion risk (chloride ion content ≤0.05%) .

🧱 Key Applications

1. Structural self-waterproofing concrete (basements, tunnels, water tanks) .

2. Overlength cast-in-place structures (reduces post-cast strip spacing) .

3. Large-volume concrete (mitigates temperature cracks) .

4. Rigid roof slabs and non-shrink grouts .

5. Precast and prestressed concrete components .
